On the afternoon of September 17, 1925, Frida and her friend Alex was involved in a severe Bus vs. Streetcar crash, and Frida was damaged very severely.
In September of 1925, Kahlo was riding in a bus when the vehicle collided with a trolley car.
Frida was a close friend of Tina Modotti, who modelled for Diego Rivera, and through her Frida and Diego met again, and fell in love. They married August 21st, 1929.

In year one I knew her because we saw her story about her life. I really like her work. She wasnt the most well known in our school. I would like to tell people more about her.

My Project so far...

I went round to other classrooms and I asked the teachers if they had heard of these artists; Monet, Rembrabt, Pollock, Warhol,Degas, Manet, Gauguin, Goya, Picasso, Palmer and John.
Most people thought that Monet and Van Gogh even Picasso that they had heard of. Gwen John and Samuel Palmer were less known.
